Today we are going to take a look at a piece of free software that will allow you to recover deleted files from your storage devices; flash drives, SD cards, external Hard Drives, SSDs, ect.... I will show you where to download it, how to install it, and how it can be used to get your data back! Recuva is easy to get a hold of and simple to use. It does a very good job of recovering big video files and pictures but I did run into some problems when I attempted to recover documents (word, PDF, .TXT) and I also had issues when it came to the recovery of audio files. For the most part Recuva is a decent program but sometimes it can be hit and miss when it comes to the recovery of certain files.
