You have to shrink an existing windows partition to create space for creating an EFI partition. For RAW guys: Your C: is being shown as RAW. It should be shown as NTFS. Somehow you seem to have screwed up your partition file system. For fixed disks guys: Check your connecting cables attached the HDD to the computer. Make sure they are not loose. When you start your computer, you need to press some key to enter "Setup" which are your BIOS settings. In that, there is an option to choose SATA mode. What is the value that you have set? Is it AHCI?

  1. after i start this step : DISKPART> format fs=fat32 .... nothing happens and it stays 0 percent completed for hours and hours. BTW windows was starting with this error ( Boot/bcd) i have tried everything but still cannot even reach my old harddrive not on my own laptop not even others . what can be a suggestion . the last solution i've left is to hit the hard drive extremely against the wall :D

  4. hey bro I can't create a disk partition EFI because it says I have no disk space am I screwed. like anyway I can do this with an external hard drive. this PC shold have space too GTA v was deleted

  17. I assume that: bcdboot Y:\Windows /l en-us /s b: /f ALL
    Y: is the USB drive containing the loader ? But as I enter my drive which is X: i get BFSVC Error: Failed to set element application device. Status = [c00000bb]
