Currently you find quite many programs that promise to help you recover files that you accidentally deleted. It is very nice to have more options but who are really good programs to recover deleted files? Which of them really do what they promise? To find out, we tested some of the most popular applications in this niche, all free for personal use. Let's see what we found: 1.Piriform Recuva Recuva starts with an expert to help you choose the location and file types that you seek. The application finished in 0.06 seconds this scan and found 57 of the 67 files you've deleted. It recovered 2 minutes and 45 seconds. Of the 57 recovered files, only 47 were intact. The remaining 10 files were only partially recovered their contents are partially rewritten. These files were corrupted and could not be used. When I run Recuva the second time I used the option to scan in detail (deep scan), but the results were the same. 2.Disk Drill Disk Drill is a recovery program that starts also with an expert (wizard).
