  3. BEWARE! Don't buy this product! Its limited in its functions and its not reliable. Two of four WD RED drives died after 40 DAYS of being just inside of NAS. This EX4 thing is total waste of money, even for home users. Don't count on it to store your backups or data, even in RAID1 you will be surprised in worst way... Check out WD support forums, how many people have big problems with those units, and failing drives aswell.
    BTW - if you connect to this unit via SSH YOU LOOSE YOUR WARRANTY - that is said by WD. And without accessing it via ssh, you can do shit with it, its so limited, unreliable and slow.

    par contre j'hésite à l'acheter car en fait j'aimerai l'acheter pour réunir tous mes disques dur externe western digital dedans mais je sais pas si mes disques dur externe WD sont compatible avec le socle du the WD my cloud ex4 ?? serait il possible de me dire si c'est compatible avec mes disques dur externe 2 tera 3 tera et 1 tera de chez seagate merci d'avance

  15. He mentions that the network will do load balancing or be redundant; does anyone know if it will do link aggregation or have software that will allow it to be used with VLANs
