A simple cheap and effective container for data. For day to day use, its enough to meet our expectations. Nothing out of the ordinary, and for the purpose that is all we need.

  18. I've had this external hard drive for nearly a year now, it has worked really well, even better than my samsung M3 which lasted for less than a year and actually stopped working. I had to use a program (I forgot which) to recover my files from the samsung hard drive which was why I bought this hard drive. The samsung one works now, but just to be safe I stopped using it. This hard drive hasn't stopped working at all and it's been great for me. For people who have had bad experiences with their hard drive, I guess they were the unlucky ones.

  20. yeah at least mine took a year before it gave up... i have 2 HDs WD and toshiba. too bad i choose to store my important files with my toshiba rather than WD now they are gone. RIP to my files.
