12. No need of smart switch, Just reconnect with odin & flash rom, I have suffered same problem ,smart switch was unable to recognize my phones serial no. then I tried again with odin & It worked.

16. i have a galaxy note 5 i need help right now i attempted to root the phone and it failed saying that kernel was not recognized by seandroid so then i went to sammobile.com to go and get the os i began to flash it to my phone everything was going well until it said failed when i looked down at my phone it said to connect it to smart switch but when i did it didnt do anything so followed this tutorial as close as i could until the S/R portion my phone was used so it never came with the original packaging i cannot find a serial number and am in desperate need of help
