  4. My SD card looked empty but simple the first chkdsk command repaired it. Thank you very much. Other programs told me the SD card has uknown file system.

    Access denied as you do not have sufficient privileges. you have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode.

I have just spent approximately 2 and a half hours scouring the Internet looking for a solution to recovering the data on my (corrupt) SD card, which when recently connected to my PC prompted a message advising me that the device would only function if it was formatted. Obviously I was aware of the fact that if I had chosen to format the card, then all the data would have been erased. Some of the advice on offer would have confused NASA, and other suggestions would have left me penniless E.G " Buy our amazing memory card recovery software". I followed your instructions to the letter, and amazingly within 27.5 seconds my memory card was no longer corrupt! I just can't believe it! I am delighted that I click on this upload and found a short cut to my problem. Many thanks.
  12. hey it said THE TYPE OF THE FILE SYSTEM IS RAW. CHKDSK IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RAW DRIVES. plsdsss help me to format may sdcard
  13. Hi! Thanks for the video. But my sd card does not open EVEN in chkdsk. It comes with the message: "It's not possible to open the volume for direct access." Any suggestions? Thanks!

  19. whenever i format my SD card in CMD it says "cannot open volume for direct access" do you think that i still have a chance to save my SD card? is it even detected by PC? i really dont care about the data inside i just want to save my 32 G card ... apologies for the grammar
  20. My SD card fell in the toilet. Don't ask me how. Anyway, I used a plastic bag to fish it out and I dried it with a blow dryer. Some photos were perfect, but some were corrupted. I tried your chkdsk fix and it saved a few more. Thanks.
