  1. It's a very powerful tool to take backup. Thanks for the info. Works fine.
  2. Whats is the best way to sync between a laptop and a computer? I would like the two computers to always be mirror images of each other.
  3. Man, thank you so much for the information.... It work like a charm for me.... suscribing to the channel right now.
  4. i have a question sir eli, i have this program that is made by .net. i try synctoy, freesync. but i cannot copy the file folder cause it said that it's being use, is there anyway that i can still copy it even though it is being use?
  5. You seem intelligent, but transferring files over USB 1 for 3hrs??? That's really ripping someone off. Why didn't you pull that old HD out and connect it directly to the new machine?? IDE/SATA -> USB 2 adapters are $2. Do you really prey on people like this? Enjoy that $375 you stole.
  6. Hello Eli !   I'm having problems opening a company data file in Sage 50 Accounting  .   my situation is this . I can open all other data files such as windows office, photo shop , web plus, etc between all computers on my Homegroup network  , all computers have share & read/write permissions.   i can transfer data between any computer with ease through drag and drop.  But when i open the Sage 50 accounting software company data file, that i saved on the computer that i want to hosts the data . i get an error message   saying  ( there is an error connecting to a database).   I've tried this with the firewall and anti virus off and on .  and adjusted the port setting that the software company told me to set . and still the same error result.   Is the Synchronization Software the answer i'm looking for  ?   please help!!!!!
  7. Will this work with Win 8?
And between Win OS's ie. WinXP to Win7? Win7 to Win8 etc...?
  8. Great teachings... When is your next video posting going to be for this play list?
  9. Is this classed as ghosting?
  10. ... about the transfer that you did off of that old computer that had USB 1... would it not have been better to pull the HDD out of the old computer, and hook it up to the new one directly with a HDD to USB adapter? Or were there other reasons you couldn't do that?
  11. Are you running windows on your old G4 mac? Or is that just for display purposes in your video?
  12. Eli! U Da Man!!!!
  13. In XP I have used copy and paste for years, never had a problem, it also ask you if you would like to replace all or skip if a file is none copy-able, but always continues on with the standard readable files.. maybe that is just XP working good..
  14. 1:50... umm, no it doesnt.. it asks you if you want to skip or cancel and continues copying.
