I’m Tom Neil, the recruiting manager. We have an amazing facility here, and I can’t wait to show you around. Come on in! Carbonite provides data backup and recovery services for our business and consumer clients. Put simply, we keep our clients’ digital lives safe. Our award-winning support team is based right here in Lewiston, Maine. These courteous professionals are well trained to give our clients the support they deserve. Here is our interview room. Anybody who gets a position with our call center will interview here, and we’d love to have you be one of them. Hi, my name is Amanda Saragusa and I am part of the training team here at Carbonite. Our training program is 4 weeks long and it consists of not only product training and technical training, it also consists of soft skills, sales training and a lot of hands on practical application, so you will be able to use hardware that we have right here in our lab in order to practice and develop the skills that you need to support our customers. And now I’d like to show you where our agents sit. These are the folks that provide the phone, the chat, and the email support that our customers need. This is where the magic happens. Hi, my name is Jim Puckey. I’m a Senior Manager at our operational department here at Carbonite Customer Care, so my job is training and quality, and our job is to make our agents successful so that our customers can get the very best customer service experience that they can get. You’re never alone on the phones – you always have a support system here. My entire job is to make sure that we have the right environment, and that’s an environment of success, one where agents feel empowered to do the right thing for our customers. So after you’ve been in production for a while, you’re eligible for Microsoft Certification. We have two in-house trainers, and we have a Pearson Vue testing center, which is very convenient and at no cost to our employees. Welcome back. This is the game room, my favorite room in the facility. Folks are in here all the time. We have pool, we have a foosball table, we of course have refreshments, all that stuff, but the exciting part? The video games. We have an arcade system over here, and we also have several other game systems. In our primary break room, we have a lot of different food options. It’s all partially subsidized by the company, and they have a pretty cool checkout system right here. It’s actually fingerprint, so I can pay with my fingerprint. It’s pretty neat technology, and it represents the company. You’ll notice, if you look, that we have Star Wars paraphernalia and quotes all over the office. We love Star Wars. Everywhere around the office, you’ll see signs, pictures, logos, dolls. My kids would love this! As you can see, we have plenty of parking, and we have plenty of other things that I love about Carbonite, and I’d be very happy to keep telling you about them, but I’d you to learn it for yourself.
