  6. Hi Craig, thank you for the video. What if this does not work?
Windows did assign the letter F to my drive. It showed in Disk Management, but it does no t show in the windows explorer. I changed the letter to J. It still did not show in windows explorer. I rebooted and now it shows in the windows explorer. Great right? But when I click it, it pops a message which says "Please insert Drive J". Can you please help me? Please not that my drive is not a thumb drive. It is a Seagate internal hard disk, I connected it via a SATA to USB adapter.

  8. Please help: I assigned a new letter, but it's still now showing up. Well actually, it will show up for a split second and then disappear. What can I do?

  13. My D-Link 130 does not show up on the disk manager. I also can't tell if I have wifi. Whenever I look at my networks I only have my Ethernet. Note my comp has no internet to it and I am trying install it's drivers by my USB. Which my pc acknowledges... Just not my D-link... help please?

  16. Whenever I try to open my USB, there's an ellipsis in place. I tried the disk management steps and I'm unable to change the drive letters; it just says "No Media". (I used my USB drive on my school computer and there was some problem accessing a file, but I thought it was nothing big. Now I can't access my USB.).
  17. did it but still cant see. my computer does make the sound that make when you put the pen drive in. but it is nowhere to be found. is there another way that i can my make my new pen drive to show up. the strange thing is that my old pen drives work fine. its the new ones is the one i am having problems with.
  18. Great video but still not working in my case :( The device shows up in the disk management (nowhere else) but when I try to click the "change drive/letter path" I get the error message "the operation failed to complete because the disk management console view is not up to date. Refresh the view by using the refresh task. If the problem persists close the disk management and restart disk management or restart the computer" , I have tried doing both, and still get the same error.
  19. +Craig Chamberlin Hey!  Great video but I have a bigger problem that seems to be unsolved by anyone.  Whenever I plug in my phone to my computer via usb, nothing happens at all... it will charge but will never pop up as a drive.  I have done usb debugging and all.  Made it where whenever I connect to a computer it is supposed to transfer files and not just charge.  But still, all that happens is it charges, it does not show up at all.  Doesn't even show up in the disk management.  Please help with this as no one else has solved it as far as I know.
