Often Windows refresh, restore and reset just do not do 100% what the user needs. The user might need a full system restore to a good settings time with all programs and settings and files restored. This method uses Windows 10 to create a full disk image (other disks can be added). All settings, files and folders as well as all Apps and Programs are restored to that previously created image. This video shows how to create that image and also how to restore it if need be. Backup systems should always be considered - even by the home user. 13. I personally find this way, way more useful than File History as I already use Dropbox to save my documents in the Cloud. File History ends up saving nothing as all my Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, etc folders are empty...

I have a question: will this really backup everything as it was, for example, right know I'm using W10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB and I have Office 2016 + a bunch of softwares installed like Chrome, MPC-HC, Spotify, ST3, etc. Will this really save a "snapshot" of the system and when I restore everything will be back in place, no DLL issues, no drivers issues, nothing? Thanks.
  14. @Windows Ninja: I made the system image and when I try to restore Windows asks to create a system repair disc. It just doesn't want to use the system image I had. What can I do?

  18. Hello, I was wondering if it's possible to use the backup image from windows 8.1 and apply it to windows 10. Does someone know a way how to do that, thanks.
  19. Very helpful video. I have clicked Create System Image rather than Backup up Now as all data is backed up separately more frequently anyway. Anyway do I need to change boot order in BIOS in order to get it to find the system image stored on my external USB hard drive. I just want to do a dummy test without pushing last button just to make sure it is going to work if I need it? Also it didnt ask for password when I created image so presume that is my Windows login password? Thank you
