2.) can i back it up without affecting the FILES INSIDE MY LAPTOP -
Thanks very much you have been very helpful.

My Recovery Management tool says I need a 32gb storage space. I guess it has gone up since the video was made. Thank you for the explanation.

excellently done thank you

I was afraid something like that might be the case! I've decided to keep the Windows 8 Recovery setup on my 16 GB SD Card, which will remain in my Laptop's SD Card Slot, just in case! CHEERS!

It is unlikely that there would be the necessary tools that would dictate which DVD to use, and what the reload process needs to do when it needs to change disks.

I was able to set up a full Windows 8 Recovery on my 16 GB SD Card (Actual Capacity: 14.9 GB.), which takes up around 13.5 GB. However, I would really prefer to have these set up on DVD-Rs! Would transferring the Recovery files to burnable DVDs create a usable full Windows 8 Recovery setup? I already have the boot and efi folders, as well as the bootmgr/bootmgr.efi files on a separate DVD-R, If this is workable solution, I need to know which files would need to be on each DVD-R. CHEERS!

Windows 8 only supports the creation of a backup to a USB flash drive.

I want to create a set of factory default discs, but for some reason, I'm only given the USB option although my Acer Laptop has a DVD Burner. Does anyone know what may be causing this issue?
