Using Windows 7 backup utility you can create restore disk, backup image, and file backup. Once you set your backup schedule, Windows 7 takes it from there. Protect your data!

  2. hey..i did a recovery of my samsung laptop's C-drive files in my hardisk and it all got collected in a folder.....i had docs, pics in those files.....what i want now is how to restore all those files of mine into my laptop again...can u plz help me in that??
    thanks....
  3. Thank God for dropbox and the like! Tbh for me, the "most valuable thing" is NOT the data, because that's backed up, but the programs and how theyre configured... It takes freaking hours... so it's good to get that in the image. You can slipstream programs, but you cant slipstream how theyre configured!
  4. hi can u made a video about how to fix restore error 0x8100001
  5. The image restore will affect all partitions or just the system partition? if i created the image for system partition only?
  6. The recovery disks are designed for a certain product line. So if you get a different computer if the same model, they should work.
  7. Would this recovery disc work with another computer? I am sending in my laptop for a warranty repair and backing up my Hard drive, but if they send me a different laptop with the same specs, will a recovery disc work in that case?
  8. It depends on how much you wish to back up. Generally you should have an external hard drive equal to or greater than the one you are backing up.
  9. how much memory does this usually take up because i have over 3 gb left
  10. There should also be a file with a name that matches your computer name. The media.bin file is basically just a text file that windows uses.
