Check out Bas Rutten's Liver Shot on MMA Surge: http://bit.ly/MMASurgeEp1 In this video, Mahalo expert Sean Hewitt gives an overview of what you can do with Windows Live Mail. Windows Live Mail - Overview --------------------------------------------------------------------- Windows Live Mail is a great email client that allows you to view your message offline outside of the web browser that you would normally view your mail in. Windows Live Mail allows you to log in to mail services such as GMail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail or AOLMail all at once. For example, you can set up your GMail service inside Windows Live Mail. To check your email, click Send/Receive in the top menu bar (you can also press F5 on your keyboard as a shortcut. You can also search through all of your emails very easily, and there is a Calendar on the right side to help you stay organized. For instance, you can schedule meetings ahead of time and Windows Live Mail will remind you when they come up. Windows Live Mail also allows you to take all of your messages and bring them offline in case you would like to read them later, archive them or save them for any reason. You can add various accounts to Windows Live Mail. For instance, if you wish to add 3 different GMail accounts, you can do that with no problem. Also, if you wish to send an email, you can choose which email account you want to send from. Or, if you decide to compose a mail offline, you can choose to send that email at a later time. This can come in handy if you're working on a laptop and you do not have access to the internet at the moment. You can write up your email for a later sending. Another nice thing about Windows Live mail if you can add a photo album to an email very easily because you're logged in to your Windows Live account, which allows you to use your Windows Sky Drive to upload your images to send to someone. Windows Live Mail is basically a robust, simple version of an online email client. Read more by visiting our page at: http://www.mahalo.com/windows-live-mail-overview/

  1. How do I get this to stay logged in? Every time I change a password, Windows Live Mail won't keep the new password even if I check the "remember password" box. I have to retype the new password to log in EVERY single time I want to use Live Mail. Annoying. What can I do to fix this?
  2. thanks for video
  3. Very clear and helpful. Thank you.
    Harold
  4. Windows Live Mail Server Error 3204 - Now unable to send or receive msgs... does anyone know how to fix this?
  5. I don't know why things have to be more complicated to be better, why does more features mean better performance , I us GMX mail it works fine for my basic needs (it's german so it works) for the 99% of us mere humans send, recieve and compose is all we need , or am i SO far behind in this digitized world ( pleass no negative comments, I'm getting tired of people who only live to badmouth others)
  6. how do you log out??

  9. Do you know is there a way to add a banner to the top of your email to send out to clients (I am a photographer}
  10. I have had so many problems with Hotmail. I have even rang Microsoft support and nobody even returns my calls. They say they would send me a code to my other mail account which was 7 digits, yet, to sign into Hotmail, they are asking for a 5 digit code...

I tried ringing Microsoft again today and she said that I would have to pay??? WTF?

I am soooo fucking frustrated. Can somebody help me please?
  11. Live Mail is a completre non-runner compared to OE. Yet another mercenary Microsoft ploy to squeeze money out of people. When you consider the lengths MS have gone to to corner a global monopoly, the exclusion of OE from all home versions after XP is a kick in the teeth for people who want simple and entirely uncluttered email management. Old Chinese saying: If it isn't broken - don't fix it!
  12. This is nonsense. I have used both email clients extensively. You can do everything with Windows Live Mail that you can do with Outlook Express.
  13. Schedule meetings? Where?
  14. is Live Mail internet based or do I have to use on my computer only?
  15. Mm
  16. That I can't refuse!
  17. Where are the tools that we had in Outlook Exprss HUH?
  18. BTW, Windows Live Mail Sucks, we are forced to use it insted of a great progran Outlook express! Why? I can't do anything I did with Out Look Express!
  19. I had to re-install, and now I'm no longer getting the icons at the top and cannot move my favorite commands below the icons. Is there a setting somewhere to get the icons back?
