ZTE Zmax Pro vs LG Stylo 2 Plus what device is best for you?

I have both

Okay so I have T-mobile and they also offer these two exact phones.

My question is about the ZTE what do I do if I need to replace the battery? Am I just out of luck then?

lg stylo 2 sucks ,I dislike how the back ,home,&recent buttons are on the screen not on the outside border of the phone it takes up space of the screen ,I walked into cricket and metropcs metro had the best phones at the moment (we all.know new phones come.out and they restock ) but my purchase comes.with a 60$ rebate so I basically got it for 39$ I like big screens ,yes it heats up a bit but only when ,charging and i dont mind ,lg looks cartoony zmax pro looks HD nice app icons and the notifications bar way big difference zmax pro won hands down ! unless your buying a galaxy s6 or a iphone! in my opinion

I just recently switched from Boost Mobile (TERRIBLE) and a LG Stylo 2 to Metro PCS(Great) and a ZTE ZMax Pro and I gotta say I'm loving the ZTE great phone for the price which was free for me because I switched. The Stylo 2 is a great phone as well it was just Boost that was garbage and because it was Boost I unfortunately couldn't switch my phone over.

Why did everyone give the zmax pro a hard time with the camera? even through youtube compression its clear that its camera is better. its easily the best "non flagship" camera i've ever seen on a smartphone

I like my zte zmax pro but at times the talk back will show up , i've had mine for almost 6 months. in beginning i didn't have no issue with mine

my dad had the zte max pro BUT whenever he would talk on the phone the sensor did not work so his ear would press random shit or hang up. idk, I'd say the stylo! we both love it lol

anyone else having problems downloading and updating there apps on the ZTE zmax pro?!!

4 months ago My neighbor got the ZTE and was showing it off to me, I loved how great the picture was when playing videos on YouTube. I had a Alcatel Fierce XL before, it was a great phone and I had zero problems with it after having it for a year and after hearing all those great things about the ZTE from my Neighbor I decided to upgrade. I was looking on MetroPCS' website and also seen the Stylo Plus 2 and really liked it. Up until this point all my previous smart phones had been Alcatels and my tablet's had been LG but after watching this video I got the ZTE Max pro as I couldn't decide between it or the Stylo Plus 2 and boy do I regret it! I've had it for almost 3 months, the first month it ran great but the big size of the phone took some getting use to. After that I started having all sorts of problems with it. The battery drains super fast even when I'm not using it, it's drags ass from time to time even if I close out all the apps. Need to take a picture and capture something really quick? Forget it! Takes between 10 to 20 secs to open the camera after touching the icon to open it, longer if your phone is in sleep mode and you have to unlock it. And now the 2 major things its been doing the past couple weeks is #1 the picture messaging hasn't been working, just yesterday my friend sent me a picture at 2pm and I barley got it this morning at 6am. Plus when I try to send pictures I get idle (pending) status's on it after it tries to send it for 30secs, my friend will still get the message sometimes but on my end it will still show as pending so I never know if it was actually sent or not and #2 sometimes when I hit the power button to put it into sleep mode (or standby mode, I forget what you call it) or if it goes into that mode by itself after 2 mins ( which it what I have it set to in the settings) it won't wake back up and I can not access the phone. I know it's obviously still on because the home button (the circle in the middle on the bottom of the phone) lights up on and off like it usually does. it will not let me access the phone or even power it off. I had to look online for a solution and found out you can do a reset by holding down the power and volume down buttons for 30+ seconds, that's the only way to solve that problem when that happens. I have all the same apps that I had on my Alcatel XL, haven't downloaded anything new or done anything different that I've done on the Alcatel and I'm having all these problems. When I first started having these problems I mentioned it to my neighbor and he's having some similar and some other problems with his as well. I'm ready to kick this piece of crap to the curb and go with the Stylo 2 Plus. Once I'll be eligible for another upgrade in the next couple weeks I'm getting the LG!!!

update: last night I was taking on this stupid Zmax and all of a sudden it hung up and give me a massage saying to insert a sim card, even after restarting it I was still getting the message. I have to take out the SIM card and reinsert it a couple times before it started to read it again. Now I hate this phone even more!

BTW, just FYI I have never dropped this phone once, have a full screen glass Protecter on it and it has been in a double lawyered case since day one.

these are cheap phones sorry to be homest but thwy are amazing for cheap price

i work for metro zmax is good but will give put fast so get insurance lg on the other hand is more reliable and makes better phones

video calling is available on the ZTE ZMAX Pro after you update the phone.

About to head down to a store to get one of these for free, cant deside which one!

Does the ZMAX have a notification light?

does the zte have a front flash on the camera? and do either of the phones have the middle finger emoji? my hubby has the stylo 2 plus and it doesnt have it am i missing something? great review btw!

the only thing I wish Zmax had is the decline & reject calls & spam manager feature like LG, but other than that I love the Zmax.

I just bought the ZTE MAX PRO to replace my LG Stylo 2 Plus the LG Stylo plus 2 sucks the color fades in and out on the phone. I Love the ZTE MAX PRO.
